1.2. For video data processed within commercial stables, the respective Stable/Facility Owner acts as the Data Controller, and Equistera acts strictly as a Data Processor.

2. THE TYPES OF DATA WE COLLECT

2.1. We collect your name, email address, phone number, and physical stable address when you create an account on our platform.
2.2. We process the names or internal identifiers assigned to stable hands, contractors, or staff members to track daily tasks, checklists, and horse routines.
2.3. We utilize secure third-party payment gateways, to process credit card details and billing addresses, meaning Equistera does not view or store raw financial data.
2.4. We automatically collect IP addresses, device types, operating systems, browser types, and general usage statistics via cookies and application logs.

3. SPECIAL NOTICE: VIDEO FEED AND AI PROCESSING

3.1. The EquiStream Engine processes video feeds locally and in real-time to analyze horse behavior, postures, and distress signals, meaning Equistera does not record, stream, or store raw video footage on cloud servers.
3.2. Our systems extract strictly numerical, structural, and behavioral metadata from the video stream that is completely anonymized, contains no personal human identifying information, and is used to train and refine our AI algorithms.

4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (FOR EU/UK USERS)

4.1. We process personal data to manage your subscription, process payments, and deliver the technical monitoring dashboard in fulfillment of our contract with you.
4.2. We process data to secure our platform, prevent fraudulent activity, and optimize our AI capabilities using anonymized metadata based on our legitimate business interests.
4.3. We process data for marketing communications, newsletter distribution, or demo requests based entirely on your explicit consent.

5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR DATA
